Winchester Lake

Hi Everyone!

This little hidden gem has it all. Peace, tranquility, kayaking and plenty of fishing. Last, let’s not forget the beautiful sunsets.

There are always kayaks on the water. Often they are already there and I don’t see them until just before the sun goes down, when they are coming in off water, like these two. They were the last for the evening.

The rest of the evening is pure beauty as the sun finally sets. I love the change in lighting as daylight drifts away. That saying about the sun leaving footprints on the sky is so true.

Everyone is off the water now. All that can be heard is the gentle swooshing sound of the water hitting the embankment. I wait all day for nights like this.
